The much-anticipated news of restrictions easing and pubs and restaurants re-opening in April is a light at the end of a very long tunnel for both customers and restaurant owners alike!
People are no doubt getting a date in their calendar circled, friends and family booked in and new outfits bought; all for the long- awaited return to normal life and of course, back to socialising and eating out!
Covid 19 has affected everybody in some shape or form and adjusting to a new way of life hasn’t been easy. Amongst the hardest hit by the pandemic has been the food industry, with thousands of pubs and restaurants shutting their doors for months. The recent government announcement has given everyone something to look forward to, but with this has come lots of change in the way we all go about our daily lives and business. As we begin to regain normality, pubs and restaurants need to continue to meet Covid 19 hygiene standards, with food outlets reverting to the use of single-use menus.
Single-use paper menus are now a resident feature in most restaurants and this has altered the way restaurant teams work by creating more admin for the teams responsible for front of house supplies. Here at Birch, our team will take the stress out of ordering thousands of menus and cater to your requirements as soon as you need us in the coming weeks.
We’re no strangers to this either because we’ve been working with Marston’s Brewery to produce their single-use menus over the last few months. Our team have created a bespoke online ordering portal for each of the Marston’s pub’s portfolio of menus.
Before we helped Marston’s with their online solution, the menu ordering process required a large amount of administrative work because each order had to be processed separately, which was neither time nor cost efficient. Now, the Marston’s marketing team no longer need to manage artwork distribution and processing individual orders because it’s all automated and ready to print on demand whenever they need to reorder.
Marston’s new portal is user-friendly and easy to navigate, so even if you aren’t tech savvy, ordering menus for your restaurants couldn’t be any simpler and more cost effective. To find out more information about the Marston’s project, have a read here.
